Joe RybakCoach Rybak is entering his first season coaching with Blue Chip Basketball Program.  He graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 2005 with his B.S. in Liberal Arts and with minors in Bible, Physical Education and Coaching. He was a contributing member of the basketball program there for four years. He was named Most Improved Player his first year at Temple and later red-shirted for the 2003 NCCAA Division I National Championship team. He also served as student assistant coach while at Temple. In high school Rybak scored 1,662 points and led his team to two state appearances, a runner-up and third place finish, and was voted first team all-state both years. 

Coach Rybak trained athletes for two years at Coach T’s Championship Basketball Camps in Cleveland, Tennessee. He now runs his own summer camps at Calvary for grades K-9. In 2010, Coach Rybak started the Cougar Basketball Academy, which provides individual and group training for players of all ages and ability levels. He has coached for Kingdom Athletes AAU organization, and in 2011 spring started the Triad Defenders AAU program, offering a 13U – 17U boys’ teams.

Coach Rybak just finished his eighth year at Calvary Baptist Day School, leading his teams to states 6 of the 8 years. In 2013 his team went to the final four in the 2A state tournament.
