ATKINS’ MIDDLE SCHOOL SKILLS SESSION
A middle school basketball skills camp for girls and boys. Participants will be instructed in the basic fundamentals of basketball and compete in small sided games and individual skill competitions. Atkins high school players and Blue Chip Basketball Academy coaches will be the directors of this camp.
Camp sessions are designed to help improve each player’s fundamentals by allowing different ages and skill levels optimum gym time, station work, and team play. Camp will help players of all skill levels to enhance individual skills through small group instruction as well as learn the concept of team play in our supervised games.
DATE: Saturday, September 30th, 2023
WHO: Middle School Boys and Girls (rising 6th, 7th & 8th Graders)
LOCATION: ATKINS HIGH SCHOOL (3605 Old Greensboro Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101)
TIME: 4pm to 6pm (check-in begins at 3:30am)
CAMPER’S FEE: $25
WHAT TO BRING
A basketball (if you own one)
Basketball shoes are preferred, running shoes are acceptable
Basketball shorts
T-shirt
Athletic socks
OPTIONAL: Money for the concession stand. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase each day.
*Parents are welcome to stay and watch their kids during any or all of the camp days.
