Coaching Career

Coach Conley began building his coaching career at Oak Hill Academy, one of the nation’s most recognized basketball prep schools. During his time with the Red Team, he gained valuable experience developing student-athletes in a highly competitive national basketball environment.

Conley later relocated with his family to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he served as the head coach of the Winston-Salem Christian Regional Boys Basketball Team. Across four seasons as a head coach—three at Oak Hill Academy and one at Winston-Salem Christian—his teams compiled 86 total victories and achieved significant success, including a Big Shots Prep Nationals Championship, a Big Shots Prep Nationals Runner-Up finish, a conference championship, and two conference runner-up finishes.

More importantly, Coach Conley’s programs helped 13 student-athletes advance to the collegiate level, with players continuing their careers at NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA institutions.

Over five years as a PGC Director, he has traveled throughout the country working with athletes and coaches and has helped more than 1,000 athletes develop a deeper understanding of the mental and physical aspects of basketball.

His work with PGC emphasizes more than basketball skills. Conley focuses on leadership, accountability, confidence, decision-making, and individual development both on and off the court.

Leave Your Range Shooting Clinic

Coach Conley also leads the Leave Your Range Shooting Clinic, a specialized player-development program that helps athletes become more confident and efficient shooters.

The program combines shooting mechanics with the mental approach required to become a consistent shooter. Through targeted instruction and individualized workouts, Leave Your Range helps players understand their shooting technique, develop proper habits, and accelerate their improvement.

Coach Conley’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that great shooting is developed through proper mechanics, purposeful repetition, confidence, and a strong mindset.
